Mom is {NOT} a Corporate Title

Due to my corporate mindset, I measure the value of my day by how many things I was able to accomplish, e.i. loads of laundry, rooms cleaned, dishes done, valentine cards crafted, e-mails sent, phone calls made, etc. However, as a {MOM} I really should be measuring the value of my day by how many times my child looked up at me adoringly, how many times I successfully diffused a toddler melt-down, how many times I heard & said the words “I love you”, how many times I played with my children, how many times a snuggled them, how many times I soothed a  crying baby & how many times I felt like I just could not go on, but did anyhow. My babies are not going to be {BABIES} forever! They’re going to get to a time in their life when they do not look at me adoringly, do not snuggle me, do not want to play games with me, and do not need me. I need to {RELISH} these days . . .
