Nighttime {NOTES}

To my boys:

Chandler {CHAN MAN} three is really a trying age. Your emotions and sensitivity level are at an all time high. Your cry when mommy or daddy say one of the following words to you: no, don’t, can’t, or stop. You’d rather not nap although we all know it’s best if you do. You are getting embarrassed easier. You cannot seem to stay put in your toddler bed. And, you’ve started using the phrases like “I don’t like you” and “Poppy Head”. Don’t worry son, these things are just part of childhood . . . part of {GROWING} up! While you’re growing up and going through what I like to call the “troublesome threes” mommy & daddy are growing too. Learning. Learning how to accommodate you without hindering you. Learning how to allow you to show your emotions while also explaining the situation in an effort to bring your spirits back up. This wont be easy, we’ll both make mistakes, but we’ll get through it and all be stronger people. Just remember, naps make {EVERYTHING} better!

Marshall-3d-UltrasoundMarshall {MARS BAR} I saw you yesterday! We had an elective 3D/4D ultrasound and I got to see your sweet {CHUNKY} little face. You’re big. I am 30 weeks pregnant, but you are measuring 4 weeks ahead (34 weeks) & weighing in at a whopping 5 lbs. When we had an ultrasound 4 weeks ago you only weighed 2 lbs 9 oz . . . I’m not going to lie, this definitely makes me nervous about your potential birth weight! Your brother was a large baby at 10 lbs 1 oz, but when I was 29 weeks pregnant he only measured 2 weeks ahead and when I was 34 weeks pregnant with Chandler he measured 5 weeks ahead (39 weeks) and weighed approximately 7 lbs 1 oz. . . there is not a doubt in my mind that you will gain at least 2 lbs within the next 4 weeks, I actually have a feeling that you’ll gain {MORE} than that! On another note, you’re breech. I am not sure if you’ll have enough room to flip around if you do not do it within the next week. Your father was breech so I assume that you’re just inheriting his stubbornness gene or maybe you just do not like being upside down? Either way, lucky for the both of us that it doesn’t really matter if you do flip the proper way because the doctor has already schedule a c-section based on the likely hood of your large size.

Sleep tight little ones!

Your Mommy ❤
